Ed Dodson on Natural Law

Ed Dodson will deliver a PowerPoint-based talk titled “The Different Meanings of Natural Law and the Difference This Makes.” In this talk, Ed discusses how we came to gradually gain an increasing understanding of the world in which we lived, how this understanding changed our social organization, and stimulated centuries of discussion and debate over the believe in natural law. Is natural law descriptive of “what is” or  prescriptive and the adherence thereto the key to just human behavior.

Ed is a long-time  member of the faculty of the Henry George School of Social Science. He is a graduate of Shippensburg and Temple Universities and the author of a three-volume work titled, “The Discovery of First Principles.”
